Three Steps to Going Live with Your Own Trading Tips Blog

If you are passionate about CFD trading, writing about it can be a good thing to do. Not only does it give you an even bigger reason to stay on top of the financial news affecting the markets you trade in, but it can also help you build a following of other traders who you can share advice and tips with. As well as the networking aspect and the rewards of simply doing something yourself in the field you are interested in, a blog can also be a good way to make a secondary income, if you allow for guest posts or advertising, or do some affiliate marketing.

If you are a good writer (or video maker, if you’d rather do video posts), then producing content for your blog should be fairly, easy, though even if you are not, it will be a good way to develop those skills and you can also incorporate content from other writers.

First, of course, you need a site, however. Happily, this is actually very easy to do, and you could have your new CFD tips blog up and running in an afternoon! Here are three steps to creating your website:

Choose a Host and Domain

Web hosting is fairly inexpensive and cloud hosting is generally the best choice for new blogs, as it means you get all of the resources your site needs, even if there is a big spike in traffic.

You’ll also need a domain – that is, basically, your web address. A lot of hosting companies can also handle this part of things for you, for example, GoDaddy, so you only have to deal with one company for your domain and hosting and can pay for them all as one package. You can find a full review of GoDaddy at Webloggerz, where there are also some other helpful resources.

Choose a Theme and Build Your Site

Once you have somewhere to publish your site, you need to build it. The easiest way to go about this is to use WordPress, which gives you a huge choice of themes you can customize to give your site its own unique look, and an easy to use content management system so you can manage your site with no programming skills!

Add Content and Publish

Now your site’s design is taken care of, you are almost ready to publish it on your domain. However, it is not much good publishing a blog with nothing to read on it, so you are going to want to add a few posts. Some people launch blogs with a single post, but most prefer to launch once they have about five.

Because you will be mostly writing time-sensitive content like news and tips, it can be a good idea if your first posts are somewhat more evergreen, so while your site is still attracting its first readers the posts that go out of date fast won’t be wasted. Basics of CFD trading, reviews of trading platforms, and tips for beginners can all be good topics to write about, which won’t lose value quickly.

And there you have it – if you go through these steps, you should have a live CFD trading blog in just a few hours!
